Christmas Is So Close

I can't believe I let this whole Christmas season pass by without watching It's A Wonderful Life or White Christmas, and let's not forget the very famous Bing Crosby movie, The Bells Of St. Mary's. Charlie Brown's Christmas is another one and wait, there's the whole Rudolph collection with the elf that wants to be a dentist and the Frosty series when that crazy snowman says,"happy birthday!" to everyone when he comes to "life". All classics in my book! I miss the excitement of the whole Christmas season. Not the gifts, but the time together with friends and family that is usually not normal throughout the rest of the year as it is during Christmas. It's such a great time to rejoice in Christ's birth and the glorious gift that we have been given from our great God!!
