A Goal

When all is said and done, I think this time I have been having to recoop and think about a lot has been very delayed. Maybe you can say that this was the Lord's plan to "slow" me down in some way. Being bitter about certain things and taking God's love for granted at times can make anyone feel like they are taking on the world. When in all reality, we do it to ourselves. Then it's the battle within our own hearts we must fight and come out on top and all just to remind ourselves that we are certainly not in control. Seeing so many different people help out in situations when you surely cannot do it yourself is so fruitful and what a reminder of how the body of Christ should be! Thank you all for your constant love and support. It's easy to forget that you have such support when you seclude yourself from it. Even though we sounded like 1st graders singing to an un-tuned guitar, Dana....thanks for the sweet time of worship we somewhat created ;) It's times like that I love when we are just being our crazy selves and loving the way we are loved by God. Sheri's been bringing me some great meals from all of the Providence staff and they have all been quite good to tell you the truth......I told Sheri that if I could show them how good it was I would have to punch them because while eating it, I could tell how much love was in making it and almost felt like I was punched in the face and caught off guard ;) ...haha This week is half over and i am happy about that because I am ready to get back to work and on with life. For a while I wasn't sure how I glorified God or if I ever have in that case, but as I have been walking through life and reading the word and receiving great mercies and sweet love from our Father. I've seen a lot of really neat things. Though I haven't acted as I should, but no one ever does....not that I am turning things around to excuse myself from things that have been wrong, but well....anyway...haha I've been presented with some cool new opportunities and some new places to go and visit throughout the summer and maybe even through to the next year. It's great to see how the Lord is using all of my friends in His plan to glorify Himself. As I have been learning more and wish I could just take on so much more than I really can, He is so patient and loving through teaching me patience....it's a little more evident that glorifying God, is done mostly through the way we act/react throughout our lives. So, my mission this summer is basically the same it's been for a long time. The more we submit and strive to be like Christ, the better our chances are of glorifying Him :)
