I was actually taking my camera out of my bookbag and I was laughing at myself because I almost dropped the camera and CLICK .... haha I snapped this little photo.... I thought it was a cool little snap shot. Since it looks like I am thinking or plotting ;) ..... here goes my post:
There's no limit to what God can show us. Something I am so greatful for! The last post was up for a little while, but I was convicted by my own post .... I had to leave it up there for a while to really grasp what the Holy Spirit was doing within me and the lesson the Lord was teaching me. I just wrote a fast e-mail to a friend last night right before I decided to paint my whole room and not sleep at all...(not a good idea...i will never do that again)this e-mail ... I was proud...didn't turn out to be the "novel - type" update as I usually e-mail.
The past week I have been thinking about how much I have not been seeking the things of/from the Lord, but more or less the things of/FOR Patti. John 13 - the whole chapter. Read it.... but don't just read it. Put yourself there. Jesus washed the feet of the disciples not too long before he was to be crucified. Knowing all of what he was about to go through...He washed the feet of each man. Even the those of the one who was to betray our King. I continued to write in the e-mail, " can you imagine knowing the person in your house about to have dinner with you...plotting to harm you?" Imagine... our Savior...King...Creator...on his knees... with the biggest smile on his face washing the feet of these men. I ask myself then, have I acted half as loving and humble as Him? Have I stopped doing for Patti and started bringing Him glory throghout my days? I LOVE WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT MOVES THROUGH YOU!!!! When you feel it.... and when you know that it's the work of our Father who just wants us to learn to have a heart like Jesus! Can anyone relate?? Am I alone in this people?? Comments please :)
