Sean and I were married on Saturday, May 1, 2010 and I know our honeymoon isn't technically over but I had to write this. I was sitting in a gazebo spending time with our father and praying. I read the same verse that was read at the wedding 1 Corinthians 13 and as tears fell from my eyes, I am in awe of the selfless ways Sean loves me.
Tomorrow, we drive home and get ready for the hustle and bustle of life, but at this very moment, time is standing still as I sit here, hearing a horse and carriage ride down the road, feeling the wind in my hair, the sun on my face and the mountains, trees and beautiful plantations being farmed... I see Gods creation and as I wrapped up my prayer time, I looked over my left shoulder and I saw my husband walking towards me with a smile on his face. He hugged me and gave me a kiss on my forehead and told me he loved me....
It's in this that I see, feel and know Gods love more so now than before.
In these things I am a Christ praising wife...
